SUGAR COOKIES
DIRECTIONS 1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, add egg yolks one at a time mixing all the time, add vanilla extract. Mix well. 2. Sift flour, baking powder and salt; add to mixture. Mix well. 3. Turn dough onto worktop; divide into 4 portions; roll to ball then flatten. Wrap discs in plastic and refrigerate overnight. 4. Let dough soften before rolling out to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut out to desire shapes. Bake at 350 f for 8 minutes or until cookies golden. Cool on a wire rack, decorate as desired.
